Holocaust Studies Hearing by House Consumer & Public Affairs Committee has changed again…

Anyone familiar with the NM legislature knows that, when it comes to bills for which one wants to testify, trying to plan one’s schedule in advance is somewhat fruitless.  This seems to be the issue with the Holocaust and Genocide Studies House Bill 111.  Again it’s hearing was changed to Thursday at 1:30 in room 317.

BUT – before you trek to the RoundHouse you might want to keep an eye on the committee’s schedule and hearing priorities to see if the hearing date or time changes again by visiting the committee’s website here (or  https://www.nmlegis.gov/Committee/Standing_Committee?CommitteeCode=HCPAC).

Meanwhile, if you haven’t written to your state legislator asking him/her to support the bill, see our previous February 7 posting to find out your legislator’s email/phone number and for talking points here.  Also send a note of support to the committee members, who can be found in the same blog posting.

Thank you!
